FISHERY MEMORIAL, ENNORE

Project Brief : A competition entry for a memorial in Ennore,
Concept : The idea was to create something that would catch the eye of any passerby, while still abstaining from a generic memorial that would not give identity to the fishermen. To create a visual balance with a focus we created a pond on which a boat would be mounted while in the background of a walkway that would lead to the beach, divided by a barrier that strikes and creates a backdrop to the boat.
